Bento #129 - Kielbasa and Parmesan Sandwich

Despite its small size, this bento actually has a few interesting things in it. First, an overview: green M&M's in a container on the side, then (starting clockwise) I have jello, grapes, a muscat gummi, a string cheese (cut in half) hiding behind the gummi, and a sandwich.

Here we have the tri-colored jello that was also seen in my boyfriend's bento. The top is blue raspberry, the middle is cherry, and the bottom is lemon. This is actually the reverse of how it was made (blue was originally on the bottom) but it got flipped coming out of the container, and you couldn't really see the lighter colors if the darker ones were backing them anyway. I think it looks pretty cool, but I'd like to do something even better...

I've also got a pretty interesting sandwich today... I ran out of turkey, and I didn't want the chicken my boyfriend likes in his sandwiches, so I tried someting else. I sliced up some kielbasa, laid it out on a piece of bread, and covered that with shredded parmesan cheese, then stuck the whole thing in the toaster for a little bit, along with a second, plain piece of bread. When it was done, I just stuck the two together to make a sandwich. (I had to let it cool a bit before putting it in the bento box though, otherwise the heat it put off would have led to condensation inside the box!)

All in all, a pretty tasty bento. :)
